Wow! The level of organicness in this render is amazing! You can really tell the ammount of time and the skill that went into this... and the detail is mind-blowing, from the little people down to the cute little veggie garden ^^ The lighting ties in the mood nicely, it's very nicely done.

O our lives' sweetness, That we the pain of death would hourly die Rather than die at once. (King Lear V.iii. 185-87)
Excellent! Did you model the trees by yourself? I like the silhouettes against the sky (which is perfectly colored, by the way). The trees growing out of the houses is a nice touch, as are the various random mushrooms everywhere.
The bridge leading up to the one house looks odd with no supports, especially with that sharp bend in it. Maybe also show some furniture inside one of the houses.
Aye, good call on the ramp, and the interior! If I ever go to print on this one I'll make sure and toss in a few more things like that... Appreciate the comments!
Aye, everyone has different monitors... I use a series of Viewsonic E771's, pretty much the brightest monitor ever made. Perhaps your gamma is up too high.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
